During a bushcraft weekend, we thoroughly tested this knife. The weight of nearly 500 grams provides powerful chopping action when splitting kindling. The balance is nicely forward, which makes chopping easier but makes fine cutting work a bit more challenging.

The 5Cr15 steel offers a good balance between sharpness and ease of maintenance. This Bowie knife cuts effortlessly through rope, wood, and food. The satin finish reduces reflection in nature.
