The Byrd Cara Cara2 knife, with a fibreglass-reinforced nylon handle and steel liners, is an excellent example from the Byrd range. The modified clippoint blade is easy to open with one hand thanks to the comet-shaped hole in the blade. When open, the knife locks securely with a reliable back-lock. For added safety, the back-lock is equipped with a Boye-dent, a crescent-shaped recess that prevents the knife from accidentally slamming shut during heavy use.
The knife features a solid pocket clip that can be attached to the handle in 4 ways, allowing users to choose between 'tip-up' or 'tip-down' carry, and between right- or left-handed use. This makes the Cara Cara2 a perfect EDC (EveryDayCarry) pocket knife suitable for everyday use.
