With a force of 24 Joule and a muzzle velocity of 300 m/s, the rifle performs best at distances of up to 60 metres. The adjustable keep and fixed grain with fibreglass inserts make aiming easy and accurate. For extra precision at longer distances, the rifle comes with a 4 x 32 Centrepoint scope, which can be easily mounted on the 11mm/Dovetail rail.

Pellet use and Maintenance

The Crosman Optimus is designed for pellet shooting. Do not use slugs or steel BBs, as these can damage the barrel. For optimal results, we recommend the Exact Express Diabolo pellets. To maintain shot accuracy, it is recommended to clean the barrel regularly with a cleaning kit and gun oil, preferably after every 500 shots.
