FX DRS Classic Walnut 700

The FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 is a powerful compressed air rifle with a traditional look. What is immediately noticeable is the apparent absence of a compressed air reservoir. This is made possible because the air reservoir is mounted around the barrel as a barrel sheath, giving the FX DRS Classic a sleek and low profile. This ingenious solution gives the rifle a minimalist and streamlined appearance.

Despite its classic look, the FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 is packed with the latest technologies in compressed air rifles. It offers several options for fine tuning, including an externally adjustable regulator and adjustable hammer spring preload. Here are some of the key features:

Air reservoir in barrel shell

The FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 is FX's first air rifle with an integrated air reservoir in the barrel jacket. This design reduces the overall profile of the rifle, improving shooting posture and simplifying transport and storage. The air reservoir has a capacity of 307 cc.

Adjustable regulator

The FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 is equipped with an externally adjustable AMP MkII regulator, allowing you to easily match the pressure to the pellet or slug being used. This ensures maximum precision and consistent shot quality.

Adjustable hammer spring

The spring preload of the hammer spring can be adjusted by removing the stock. Applying more spring preload keeps the valve open longer and allows more air to pass through. Less spring preload results in a shorter passage time. This allows you to experiment for optimum performance without disruptive overpressure when exiting the barrel.

High Power plenum

The plenum of the FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 has been carefully designed to provide sufficient regulated air for each shot. Larger projectiles, longer barrels and higher velocities require more air. The FX DRS Classic 500 and 600 have an HP plenum, while the FX DRS Classic 700 has an SHP plenum for maximum performance.

Superior STX barrel system

The Superior STX barrel system has a removable liner with smooth traits and fields for minimum resistance and a good seal around the pellet or slug. Models with an HP plenum and calibre 5.5 or 6.35 have a Dual Hole transfer port, allowing you to choose between pellets or slugs. The barrel has a ½ UNF thread for an optional silencer.

Walnut stock

The FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 has a beautiful walnut wood stock, manufactured by Italian company Minelli. These butts are known for their excellent ergonomics and high-quality workmanship, adding to the stylish look of the rifle.

Adjustable trigger

The trigger of the FX DRS Classic Walnut 700 is fully adjustable, so you can tailor it to your preference. Both the first and second stages are adjustable, and the trigger blade can be adjusted in distance and height and even rotated for perfect ergonomics.

Magazine selection and rails

The FX DRS comes standard with a mini mag, which allows the rifle scope to be mounted very low. An optional 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail can also be mounted on the 11 mm dovetail rail, available in a low variant for the mini mag and a high variant for a mega mag with more capacity.

Loading and filling

With the magazine in place, you can easily load the FX DRS by pulling back the smooth tension lever on the right side. To replenish the air supply, use the filling opening on the right-hand side, into which you simply insert a filling nipple.
