The Firesteel, originally developed for the Swedish army, is a fire starter made of magnesium in the shape of a rod. Using the included stainless steel scraper, you can produce sparks averaging 3000°C. Firesteel Army is good for 12,000 strikes.

The Firesteel performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-poor air and even in wet conditions. It can be used for various purposes, from lighting a gas stove to starting a campfire. The scraper also includes an emergency whistle.
