The Firesteel was originally developed for the Swedish army. It is a fire starter made of magnesium in the shape of a rod. Using the included stainless steel scraper, it can produce sparks averaging 3000°C. The Firesteel performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-poor air and even in wet conditions.
The Firesteel can be used for multiple purposes, such as lighting a gas stove or starting a campfire. The scraper also includes an emergency whistle. A Firesteel is indispensable in your equipment for survival, camping, fishing or hunting.
