The Njord is an artisanally handmade medieval fireslag made of carbon steel, based on historical finds.
To be used to ignite dry materials such as wood chips, dry grass or other tinder materials.
A firm blow against the supplied flint with your tinder creates a rain of sparks.
Comes with: Leather bag, Fire tinder and flint.
The inspiration for the design of this traditional medieval fire tinder has its origins in the time of the Vikings. Fire was essential for survival and a reliable fire sledge could not be missing from your equipment.
