The Golden Flower Tanto by John Lee is a hand-forged Samurai tanto, characterised by its beautiful damask structure of hardened carbon steel. This unique sword is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, supplied with a certificate of authenticity and packaged in a cotton cloth and decorative wooden box with floral design.

The blade of the Golden Flower Tanto is hand-forged and folded 12 times, resulting in a beautiful damask structure of hardened carbon steel. The blade features a Bo-Hi (channel) for weight reduction and sharp sharpening. The handle (tsuka) is covered with genuine rye skin (Same) and wrapped with black cotton cord (tsuka-Ito) in the traditional manner.
The handle is embellished with two Menukis (locking pins). The particularly beautiful tsuba is made of zinc-aluminium-bronze with gold paint accents, made by a master in the 18th century, although his name is not known. The scabbard (saya) is made of black lacquered wood and the Habaki (scabbard-adapter) is made of brass. This sword has been meticulously reproduced after museum examples.
