The Double Alpha 8-shot 9mm Moon Clips are specially designed for the popular Smith & Wesson 929 9mm revolver.
These excellent quality moon clips offer comparable performance and durability to the best on the market, but at a more affordable price, thanks to volume and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Our Moon Clips are cut with laser precision from hardened 413 stainless steel, achieving an unmatched hardness of 44RC. This makes them extremely durable and resistant to bending and warping.
We now offer these popular moon clips in two different thicknesses: 0.037" (0.92 mm) or 0.040" (1.00 mm).
Depending on the type of ammunition you use and the space available in your revolver, one type may perform better than the other. It is important to have the right amount of retention of your ammunition in the moon clips to ensure consistent reloads. Choose the type that best suits the specifications of your ammunition.
The stainless steel used is magnetic and the smaller recess for the extractor allows for better overlap and optimum performance when using magnetic moon clip holders, such as our DAA 8-shot moon clip holders.
