During a weekend trip, we noticed how convenient the small size is. The knife almost disappears in your pocket, but opens surprisingly smoothly thanks to the spring-assisted system. However, we did notice that the blade shows some flexibility during heavier cutting tasks.

Performance and sharpness of this pocket knife

The 3Cr13MoV steel is a budget-friendly option that can be sharpened easily – ideal for beginners. This steel cuts effortlessly through rope, cardboard, and food. The satin finish looks neat and offers some scratch resistance. For intensive use on wood, we recommend a heavier model.

Grip and ease of use

At 7.6 cm, the handle fits well in smaller hands. The anodised aluminium feels sturdy but smooth – in wet conditions, extra grip may be useful. The liner lock works reliably and the spring-assisted mechanism makes one-handed opening effortless.

Maintenance and durability

The stainless steel requires little maintenance – occasional wiping and a drop of oil on the hinge is sufficient. The 3Cr13MoV steel sharpens easily but needs to be touched up more often than premium steels. The aluminium handle offers high durability.
