During a weekend trip, we tested this pocket knife extensively. The spring assisted mechanism operated smoothly, even when wearing gloves. However, we did notice that the compact size takes some getting used to for larger hands.

The 3Cr13MoV steel is a reliable choice for beginners – it stays reasonably sharp for a long time and is easy to resharpen. This knife cuts effortlessly through rope, food and cardboard. The satin finish gives the blade a neat appearance and extra scratch resistance.

The anodised aluminium handle sits surprisingly well in the hand for its size. The liner lock securely locks the blade during use. The spring-assisted mechanism makes one-handed opening a breeze.
