The hardwood stock sits comfortably in the hand and the weight of 2.9 kilograms ensures a stable shooting experience. Cocking the break barrel operates smoothly, although it does require some force - which is characteristic of this type of air rifle. The included 4x32 rifle scope with mounting rings makes it ready for use straight away.
Technology, performance and variants
The Optimus works with the traditional break barrel system: by folding the barrel downwards you cock the internal spring. This air rifle has a barrel length of 467 mm, is equipped with single-shot functionality and features a single-action trigger system. It is available in two variants: caliber 4.5mm (24 Joule) and caliber 5.5mm (26 Joule). Use and operation
This air rifle feels familiar during use. The adjustable front sight and rear sight make precision adjustment simple, whilst the 11mm dovetail mounting rail offers possibilities for various rifle scopes. The ambidextrous design makes the break barrel air rifle suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. With a total length of 1143.3 mm it sits stably in the shoulder.
