Rainbow Butterfly Style | Mtech – colourful pocket knife for collectors

This striking pocket knife from MTech immediately stands out due to its colourful rainbow finish. It is a butterfly-style pocket knife, also known as a balisong, which is particularly suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of special knives. With its unique design and vibrant colours, this is a real eye-catcher in any collection.

Experience from the Shogun team

When testing this MTech knife, the smooth movement of the handles was immediately noticeable. Opening and closing requires some practice, but the balance feels good. The rainbow finish gives the knife a unique appearance that particularly appeals to collectors.

Performance and sharpness of this pocket knife

The blade of this MTech pocket knife is made of stainless steel, which provides good rust resistance and easy maintenance. The sharpness is sufficient for light cutting tasks such as opening packages or cutting through rope. Due to the specific blade shape, the knife is particularly suitable for precision work and less so for heavy outdoor tasks.

Grip and ease of use

The handles have a smooth metal surface with rainbow coating, which looks attractive but offers less grip when wet. The opening mechanism is typical for a butterfly knife: both handles rotate freely around the blade. This requires some skill and cannot be opened single-handed.

Who is this pocket knife suitable for?

This Rainbow Butterfly Style knife is ideal for collectors who want to expand their collection with a striking piece. It is less suitable for daily use or outdoor activities. Beginners who want to practise with butterfly knives can start well with this due to its affordable price.

Maintenance and durability

Thanks to the stainless steel, maintenance is simple: regular cleaning with a dry cloth is usually sufficient. The rainbow coating on the handles may show signs of wear over time with intensive use. A drop of oil on the pivot points keeps the opening mechanism smooth.
