RM1 Guide Rod | Hi-Capa | CowCow – for your replica

This guide rod replaces the standard guide rod in your Hi-Capa pistol and uses a dual spring system to absorb recoil. Whereas a standard guide rod has a single recoil spring, the RM1 operates with two springs that better absorb the shock from the slide. This reduces muzzle rise during shooting and minimises vibrations transferred to your optics. A guide rod upgrade like this is especially relevant if you want more consistent performance from your GBB pistol or if you notice your replica produces significant vibrations during use.

Technical specifications

The RM1 Guide Rod consists of a two-piece system with dual springs. The main component has two spring seats that distribute forces during recoil. The construction is made from anodised aluminium with a black finish. The system includes three different springs that you can swap to adjust the recoil to your preference. The guide rod has standard Hi-Capa dimensions and fits Tokyo Marui models without modification.

Compatibility and application

This guide rod is developed for GBB Hi-Capa and 1911 replicas, specifically designed for Tokyo Marui models. With other brands of Hi-Capa, some adjustment may be required for a proper fit. It is a drop-in part that can be installed without special tools. Installation requires basic knowledge of Hi-Capa disassembly – you need to be able to remove the slide and replace the original guide rod. This makes it suitable for both beginners and advanced tech enthusiasts looking to refine their replica.
