The SCAR-L from Tokyo Marui is a full-featured AEG assault rifle that you can deploy both indoors and outdoors. With a length of 89.9 cm extended and 63.5 cm collapsed, you have an all-round format that works well in most situations. The weight of 3.3 kg including empty magazine provides sturdiness, but does require some arm strength during longer sessions. The barrel length of 300 mm ensures a pleasant balance between speed and stability. The stock is both folding and adjustable, so you can quickly find a suitable position. Because this is an AEG, you don't need to reload with gas and simply work with a fresh battery for long play days. You may notice with AEGs that the trigger response feels slightly less direct than with gas models.

The magazine capacity is 82 BBs in a steel housing, compatible with Tokyo Marui's own system. You have a barrel thread of 14 mm CCW, convenient for mounting a silencer. The hop-up is variably adjustable, so you can optimise the flight path for BBs between 0.20 and 0.28 grams. The model runs on a battery type of 8.4V Ni-MH and a charger is included.
