When testing these slugs, it is immediately noticeable how stable they fly compared to traditional pellets. The heavier 13 grain projectile does require an air rifle with sufficient power – at least 25 joules for optimal performance. The hollow point construction ensures good energy transfer on impact. At 50 metres, these slugs retain their velocity and precision significantly better than lighter pellets.
