What immediately stood out to us about this red dot sight is how small and lightweight it is – at just 63 grams, you'll barely notice it on your setup. The housing feels neatly finished and, thanks to the 6 brightness settings, you'll find a comfortable setting both indoors and outdoors. Simple, solid, and no-nonsense: exactly what you'd expect from an entry-level red dot sight.

Technical and optical performance

The SPX V3 operates at 1x magnification with a 3.5 MOA red dot – a fine middle ground between a precise small dot and a larger dot for rapid target acquisition. The viewing window measures 17 × 23 mm and the Multi-Coated lens provides a clear image. Eye relief is unlimited, making mounting straightforward, and parallax is set at ±1 MOA at 50 yards. With a total adjustment range of 80 MOA, you have ample room to zero in accurately.

The housing is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with a matte black finish. Power is supplied via a CR2032 battery, with a convenient automatic shut-off after 60 minutes of inactivity and a manual side switch. Mounting and compatibility

This red dot sight features a Weaver mount that is included as standard. According to VictOptics, the included mount is also fully compatible with a Picatinny rail – the standard found on many airsoft replicas and PCP air rifles – ensuring a secure fit and broad compatibility. The footprint follows the VT / BRS / DCT pattern, giving you more options for direct mounting.

In the box, alongside the SPX V3 itself, you will find the Weaver mount, a rubber lens cover, MOA dial plate, Allen key, screwdriver, and a cleaning cloth. Everything you need to get started straight away, with no additional purchases required.
