Inspired by this rich artistic heritage, Spyderco's Zome family offers hand-coloured variations of popular models with FRN handles.
The handles of these knives are first cast in a light base colour and then individually dyed by expert Japanese craftsmen. This technique, similar to traditional hiki-zome (brush dyeing), results in unique patterns integrating different colours of dye into the FRN material.
