During a weekend camping trip, it was noticeable how quickly this pocket knife can be opened thanks to the Rapid-Lock system. It cut effortlessly through rope and cardboard, although we did notice that after intensive use it needs to be sharpened more frequently than knives made from more expensive steel types.

Performance and sharpness of this pocket knife

The blade length of 95mm is made from 3CR13 stainless steel – an entry-level steel that performs well for its price. This steel retains its sharpness reasonably well and is easy to sharpen. The drop point blade shape cuts effectively through wood, rope and food, although with intensive use you will need to resharpen it more often than premium steel types.

Grip and ease of use

The aluminium handle of 121mm fits comfortably in the hand and provides sufficient grip, even with wet hands. The Rapid Lock locking system works intuitively – one press of the button and the knife opens smoothly. The pocket clip keeps the knife securely in place during EDC use.
