Vector Optics Veyron 3-12x44 IR – This rifle scope for versatile precision

The Veyron 3-12x44 IR is a compact rifle scope that offers you flexibility for various shooting disciplines. With a magnification range of 3-12x and an objective lens diameter of 44 mm, this scope provides you with a clear image, even when light is limited. The illuminated reticle with IR function makes it suitable for use in twilight and low-light conditions.

What we think of this rifle scope

The Shogun team is impressed by the compact dimensions – with a length of just 24.3 cm, this rifle scope fits perfectly on shorter replicas and lightweight air rifles. The turret lock system and the zero-reset function are practical extras that we greatly appreciate. You can lock your settings and always return to your zero point.

Technology and optical performance

This Vector Optics rifle scope has a 30 mm tube diameter for optimal light transmission. The MPR V10 reticle is etched into the glass, which means it remains visible at all times, even without a battery. The Second Focal Plane (SFP) construction ensures that the reticle maintains the same size at every magnification.

The fully multi-coated lenses maximise light transmission, whilst the nitrogen filling prevents internal condensation. With a parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity, you can achieve a sharp image at different distances. The click value of 1/10 MIL gives you very precise adjustment options.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope is mounted on a Picatinny rail – this is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles, offering secure attachment and broad compatibility. Vector Optics includes handy 30mm weaver scope rings, plus flip-up lens caps and a honeycomb sunshade. Everything you need is therefore in the box, except the battery for the illuminated reticle.

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

The Veyron 3-12x44 IR is ideal for shooters looking for a versatile rifle scope. Whether you're on the airsoft field, shooting targets with your air rifle or doing precision work at the shooting range – this scope grows with you. The magnification range makes it suitable for both shorter distances (3x for rapid target acquisition) and longer distances (12x for precision). The IR illumination is useful when you want to continue shooting in dim conditions.
