About Webley
The Webley Raider Classic is a further development of the Webley Raider 12. Of course, we already know the term "classic" from the British brand's VMX rifles. There, the label "classic" was used to refer to the wooden stock. This time, Webley is referring to a more premium version of the preceding Webley Raider 12.
Webley Raider Classic PCP 5.5mm
The Raider Classic includes a premium Turkish walnut wood stock with nice quadrillage/checkering on both the pistol grip and fore-end. This ensures a good grip in almost all conditions and is also aesthetically pleasing. The side-action mechanism has been replaced by a bolt, which is sturdier in terms of construction on the one hand, but less supple on the other.
At the top of the rifle, Webley has opted for a two-in-one 11mm/Dovetail & 22mm/Weaver/Picatinny rail for mounting a scope or red dot. The Dutch 42 Joule version has enough power to consistently hit the intended target even at distances of 80 metres. A rifle scope with 3-9x or 4-12x magnification is preferred here.
On the underside of the rifle are both the barometer and the recess for the supplied filling nipple. At the end of the barrel you will find a 1/2" UNF thread for mounting a silencer.
