Our thoughts on this mount

What immediately caught our attention when we took this mount out of the box: it feels surprisingly solid for its weight. The finish is a neat matte black, no sharp edges, and the rings close evenly around the tube. The cantilever design is great when you want to fit a slightly longer rifle scope while still retaining enough rail space for, say, a backup iron sight or magnifier.

Technical details and construction

This mount is made from 6061-T6 aluminium, an alloy known for its combination of low weight and high rigidity. With a tube diameter of 30 mm, it fits the most common rifle scopes in that size. The total height comes to 54.5 mm, with a central bore height of 32 mm from the bottom of the rail — more than enough clearance to keep larger objectives free from the barrel.

In terms of finish, you get a matte black coating that produces no reflection during use. The weight is kept to just 101.3 grams, and the recommended torque is between 2.0 and 2.5 N·m. Fitting and compatibility

This mount is compatible with Weaver and Picatinny rails. Picatinny is the standard on airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles — it offers a secure attachment and broad compatibility with accessories. As this is a complete mount with integrated rings, there is no need to order separate rings: you can mount your optic straight away.

Do make sure your optic has a tube diameter of 30 mm, otherwise it will not fit correctly in the rings.
