Aim-O 551 Red / Green Dot - Black

This red dot sight is a versatile optic in the well-known EOTECH design. With the choice between red and green dot illumination and multiple brightness levels, this sight effortlessly adapts to various lighting conditions. Whether you're playing on a sunny day or in dim environments, this sight remains clearly visible.

What we think of this sight

The Shogun team particularly appreciates the wide viewing angle of 30x23mm on this sight. The holographic projection is completely parallax-free, meaning your point of aim remains accurate regardless of your eye position. The robust aluminium design feels solid without being excessively heavy, perfect for extended airsoft sessions.

Technology and optical performance

This sight operates with 1x magnification and offers a clear, undistorted view of your surroundings. The anti-reflective coating on the lenses prevents annoying glare, whilst the scratch-resistant surfaces ensure lasting clarity. The system functions even at extreme temperatures down to -40°C, guaranteeing reliability under all conditions.

Power is supplied by 4 LR44 batteries (not included). The calibration adjustments for elevation and windage are easily accessible, allowing you to make quick adjustments during use. For more technical details, you can consult the 'More information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

This sight is mounted on a Picatinny rail - this is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles. It offers secure attachment and broad compatibility with virtually all modern platforms. The mounting is integrated into the design, so you don't need to purchase separate mounting rings.

The compact size makes this sight ideal for short to medium ranges, where rapid target acquisition is more important than magnification. The unlimited eye relief means you can mount the sight at any desired position on your rail.

Who is this sight intended for?

Both beginners and advanced players will appreciate the ease of use - no complicated settings, simply switch on and aim.
