AEA Precision Long Range Master – big bore slug for extreme distances

This slug for PCP air rifle from AEA Precision is developed for the heaviest big bore air rifles. With a calibre of 14.73mm/.58 and a weight of 450 grain, this projectile belongs to the absolute heavyweights in the air rifle ammunition world. The hollow point design with dish-base ensures optimal stability during flight and maximum energy transfer upon impact. This makes these slugs suitable for PCP systems from 300 Joule that are built for long distances.

Our experience from the Shogun team

When testing these Long Range Master slugs, the reliable aerodynamics are immediately apparent. The design with dish-base ensures a stable flight, even at distances beyond 100 metres. The heavy projectile retains its energy excellently over long distances. The hollow point construction provides controlled expansion upon impact, resulting in effective energy transfer. These slugs perform optimally in big bore PCPs with a high energy output.

Technical characteristics in practice

With a weight of 450 grain and a calibre of 14.73mm/.58, this is one of the heaviest projectiles for air rifles. The hollow point pellet shape with dish-base combines stability with effective energy transfer. The projectile is supplied in packages of 20 pieces. These specifications make the slug suitable for big bore PCP air rifles that are specifically designed for .58 calibre ammunition. Testing different air pressures with a chronograph provides insight into the optimal energy output for your specific air rifle.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?

These slugs are developed for the experienced shooter with a big bore PCP air rifle. Think of users who are seriously engaged in long-distance precision shooting or who want to achieve maximum performance from their heavy air rifle.
