With 300 pieces per pack, you have ample ammunition for extended shooting sessions at the range.
Our experience from the Shogun team
The Baracuda Green flies stable and predictably thanks to its aerodynamic domed shape. When used in a break barrel or pump-action air rifle with approximately 25-30 joules, you will see good groupings up to around 50 metres. The light weight of 6.64 grain ensures a flat trajectory, which simplifies aiming. The lead-free composition minimally affects the flight characteristics compared to traditional lead pellets.
Technical features in practice
The 4.5mm calibre is the standard for many air rifles worldwide. At 6.64 grain, this projectile belongs to the lighter category, resulting in higher velocities and a flatter trajectory. The domed shape offers a good balance between aerodynamics and energy retention. The lead-free material makes these pellets more environmentally friendly and safer for use in areas where lead residues are undesirable. The pack of 300 pieces provides sufficient supply for regular shooters.
Who is this air rifle pellet suitable for?
The Baracuda Green is an excellent choice for shooters using break barrel or pump-action air rifles in the 25-30 joule range. The light weight makes these pellets ideal for precision shooting at paper targets up to around 50 metres. For field target competitions where environmental friendliness is important, these lead-free pellets are a responsible choice. Testing different grains remains important for optimal accuracy – every air rifle has its preferences and a chronograph helps you determine the correct energy output.
