Experience & handling – CQB-R M4 Shorty 10.3" | Rifle | AEG | Dual-Tone | Tokyo Marui

With a length of 78 cm and a barrel length of 275 mm, you have an all-round size that does its job both in buildings and in the field. The adjustable stock makes it quickly adaptable, whilst the Picatinny rails all round give you space for optics and accessories. The Next Gen Recoil Shock system provides noticeable recoil when firing, making the experience more realistic. Bear in mind that an AEG requires regular cleaning and that the SOPMOD battery needs to be recharged in good time after intensive sessions.

What makes the CQB-R M4 Shorty 10.3" | Rifle | AEG | Dual-Tone | Tokyo Marui special?

The distinctive feature lies in the Next Gen Recoil Shock system: you feel the recoil with every shot and the bolt stops automatically when the magazine is empty. The metal RAS handguard with numbered rails and the construction of metal and polymer lift this replica above standard AEGs. In addition, the dual-tone colour scheme of black and Flat Dark Earth is immediately striking in any loadout.

Technology & performance – CQB-R M4 Shorty 10.3" | Rifle | AEG | Dual-Tone | Tokyo Marui

The magazine capacity is 82 BBs in a steel housing. You have fire modes semi-automatic and automatic at your disposal, and the Hop-Up is adjustable for finer tuning. The barrel end has a thread of 14 mm CCW, suitable for suppressors or other muzzle devices. The replica runs on a battery of 8.4V Ni-MH 1300mAh with Tokyo Marui's own SOPMOD connector, housed in the stock. Check after each day of play that the contacts are clean and lightly lubricate moving parts; this keeps an AEG performing reliably. View all details in the 'specifications' tab.
