Daisy Flat-Nosed 4.5mm – heavy pellets for precision shooting
These Daisy Flat-Nosed pellets are specifically designed for shooters seeking maximum precision in card shooting and target shooting. With a weight of 15.42 grain in 4.5mm caliber, these are relatively heavy projectiles that perform excellently in powerful break barrel and pump-action air rifles. The flat nose pellet shape ensures sharp, clearly visible impacts on paper targets, making them ideal for competition shooting where every shot counts.
Our experience from the Shogun team
In our tests, these Daisy pellets stand out for their consistent flight behaviour and stable ballistics. The heavier 15.42 grain makes them less sensitive to wind, especially noticeable at distances up to 50 metres. The lead material combined with the flat nose shape provides a predictable trajectory, with the pellets maintaining their velocity well. For precision shooting at 25-35 metres, they deliver particularly tight groupings in well-tuned air rifles with sufficient power.
Technical features in practice
With 4.5mm caliber, 15.42 grain weight, and a flat nose shape, these pellets offer unique advantages. The lead material ensures optimal weight distribution and the flat tip creates maximum impact on the target. The packaging contains 250 pieces, more than sufficient for extensive shooting sessions. This combination of features makes them particularly suitable for air rifles from 25 Joules, where the heavier mass provides a more stable flight and better energy transfer.
Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?
These Daisy Flat-Nosed pellets are designed for the serious target shooter working with powerful break barrel or pump-action air rifles. They excel in competition situations where precision on paper targets is key. Shooters looking to refine their skills and perform consistently at distances up to 50 metres will find a reliable partner in these pellets. Testing different grains remains valuable – every air rifle has its preferences, and a chronograph helps to find the ideal match between pellet and air rifle for optimal groupings.
