Diamondback Tactical 6-24X50 FFP – this rifle scope for long-range precision

The Vortex Diamondback Tactical is a no-nonsense rifle scope that focuses on what truly matters: clear image and reliable tracking. This scope combines a variable magnification of 6-24x with a 50 mm objective lens, allowing you to observe and aim sharply at both medium and long distances.

Our opinion on this rifle scope

The Shogun team is impressed by Vortex’s uncompromising approach. This rifle scope feels solid thanks to the aluminium housing, and the exposed turrets respond surprisingly tactilely for this price range. The EBR-2C reticle in MRAD is practically laid out without becoming overly busy.

Technology and optical performance

With a magnification of 6-24x and a 50 mm objective lens, this rifle scope delivers a clear image, even at higher magnifications. The BDC reticle (Bullet Drop Compensator) in combination with the EBR-2C MRAD reticle helps you compensate for distance. The adjustable parallax ensures your image remains sharp, regardless of the distance to your target.

The 30 mm tube diameter provides ample room for light transmission and adjustment range. Weighing 680 grams, this scope is sturdy but not too heavy for prolonged use. Extras such as lens caps, a cleaning cloth, and a sunshade are included.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope has a 30 mm tube diameter, which means you will need suitable mounting rings. Most modern airsoft replicas and precision air rifles have a Picatinny rail on which you can securely mount this scope with the correct rings. For traditional rifles with an 11 mm dovetail rail, special mounting rings are available.

Please note: mounting rings are not included with this rifle scope. Choose rings that match your rail system and the height of your desired eye position.

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

The Diamondback Tactical is suitable for air rifles, suitable for airsoft, and suitable for firearms. Whether you are an experienced target shooter seeking precision at the range, or an airsoft player who enjoys long-range play – this versatile scope delivers the performance you are looking for. The variable magnification makes it flexible in use: from observation at 6x to precision work at 24x magnification.
