The Primary Arms SLx 1x MicroPrism is an ultra-compact prism optic with a green illuminated ACSS Cyclops Gen2 reticle. This red dot sight combines the advantage of an etched reticle — visible even without a battery — with the speed of a classic red dot sight, ideal for fast target acquisition at short to medium range.

What struck us immediately: this MicroPrism is genuinely small and light, yet feels exceptionally solid in terms of build quality. The etched reticle is a real benefit for shooters with astigmatism, as you won't suffer from a blurred or blooming dot. The AutoLive motion sensor automatically activates and deactivates the illumination — convenient, as you never need to wonder whether the optic is still switched on. The daylight-bright settings are vivid enough to pick up your point of aim instantly in direct sunlight.

Technical and optical performance of this red dot sight

With a 1x magnification, a green ACSS Cyclops Gen2 reticle and 13 illumination settings plus 3 night vision settings, you are prepared for virtually any lighting condition. The eye relief of 2" to 6" (optimal at around 3.6") offers considerable flexibility in mounting position, whilst the wide field of view of 76.5 ft at 100 yds works excellently for close-quarters scenarios. Adjustments are 1 MOA per click, with a total of 120 MOA of windage and elevation travel.

The housing is IP67 waterproof, nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging and dust-proof. Power is supplied by a CR2032 coin cell battery which, on the mid-brightness setting, lasts approximately 45,000 hours thanks to the intelligent sleep mode. Mounting and compatibility

This MicroPrism is supplied with a hardened mount with a Picatinny footprint — the standard on airsoft replicas and modern PCP air rifles, providing a solid and broadly compatible attachment solution. Notably, the mount supports 8 different heights, ranging from a 1" centreline (suitable for AK platforms or low stocks) to just over 2" for heads-up sight acquisition or use with night vision. Absolute co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness are both possible. The mount is included in the box as standard, so you can get started straight after unboxing.
