The GAMO Hunter AccuTek pellets are a further development within the GAMO ammunition line and designed for shooters seeking reliable performance. With a calibre of 5.5 mm / .22 and an average pellet weight higher than 4.5 mm variants, these pellets are particularly suitable for more powerful air rifles. The domed pellet shape ensures stable flight and consistent accuracy, especially at medium ranges. Thanks to the renewed lead alloy and improved production methods, these pellets fit well in the barrel of spring-powered, COâ‚‚-powered and PCP air rifles alike.
Our experience from the Shogun team
In practice, we find that the GAMO Hunter AccuTek in 5.5 mm / .22 particularly comes into its own with air rifles with a power output from approximately 30 joules. The higher pellet weight contributes to a stable trajectory and energy retention at distances up to approximately 50 metres. The improved aerodynamics and optimised centre of mass ensure predictable flight characteristics and tight groupings, making these pellets suitable for both recreational shooting and serious precision training.
Technical characteristics in practice
The pellets are supplied in a pack of 500 pieces and have a classic domed shape, known for its good balance between accuracy and energy retention.
