Jimmy nightstick
Batons come in many varieties and are as old as conflict itself. Also known as the truncheon, the nightstick is often used by police officers.
The modern nightstick batons that cops are equipped with today differ considerably from the classic Jimmy nightstick. This retractable nightstick, as it is often called, is made of steel instead of polypropylene or ebonite (hard rubber).
The Jimmy nightstick is a classic bat with extra tough points for harder impact. It features a belt clip, has a length of about 460mm, a diameter of 30mm and is made of polypropylene.
