Hand-forged Samurai Katana by John Lee

The blade of the Katana is hand-forged, 12x folded and has a beautiful damask structure of hardened carbon steel.

Blade with Bo-Hi (channel) for weight reduction
Handle (tsuka) covered with real fish (ray) skin (Same)
Grip wrap (tsuka-Ito) of black cotton
Two Menukis (locking pins) in the grip

Tsuba made of zinc-aluminium-bronze with gold paint accents, possibly inspired by an 18th-century master

Sheath (saya) of black lacquered wood, with a Habaki of brass.

Made after museum examples.
