Our experience with the Katran L
At Shogun we were immediately impressed by the build quality of this air rifle. The fully metal folding stock feels incredibly solid and the weight of 2.82 kg provides a stable shooting platform without feeling too heavy. What particularly stands out is the well-considered ergonomics – the AR15 grip sits naturally in the hand and the adjustable side lever operates smoothly, even during longer shooting sessions.
Engineering, performance and variants
This PCP system works with a maximum fill pressure of 300 bar and has an air cylinder of 285 cc for extended shooting sessions. The CZ barrel of 520 mm guarantees excellent precision, whilst the internal regulator ensures consistent shots. All models are fitted with a 22mm Weaver top rail and have a magazine capacity of 18 shots. This version is chambered in 4.5mm (.177) calibre and delivers a power output of 16 joules, making it perfect for accurate shooting at short to medium range and suitable within Dutch legislation.

Use and operation
