Experience & handling – LCK-16

With a length of 91 cm and a weight of 3.8 kg, this is a sturdy model you can feel in your hands. The barrel length of 380 mm contributes to stable output, while the Picatinny rails on top and around the handguard give you the freedom to mount optics, grips or lights. AEG replicas like this are popular for their reliability during longer sessions: you charge a battery, click it in and you're ready for action. Bear in mind that a heavier model like this may feel slightly less manoeuvrable in CQB situations, but offers stability in open field play.

What makes the LCK-16 special?

The AK12 platform combines the robustness of classic AK lines with modern features. LCT has opted for a stamped steel receiver with rivets, which provides an authentic look and solid construction. The top rail dust cover with adjustable rear sight and the handguard with 20mm Picatinny interface make it easy to adapt the replica to your preference. The included 2000-round electric drum magazine saves you a lot of reloading during intensive engagements.

Technology & performance – LCK-16

Under the bonnet you'll find a standard Version 3 gearbox with 9mm bearings, fully upgradeable with TM-compatible parts. The Hop-Up is adjustable via a convenient slide construction for easy fine-tuning. The replica runs on a battery type of 7.4V LiPo or 9.6V NiMH, connected with a Tamiya connector. The firing modes include semi-automatic, automatic and a safety. The thread of 14mm CCW allows mounting of a suppressor. For AEGs: keep the barrel clean and lubricate the gearbox regularly to maintain optimum performance. View all details in the 'specifications' tab.
