These binoculars combine Leupold's renowned glass with a compact roof prism design. What we think of these binoculars

The Shogun team is impressed by the focusing that is perfect from as close as 4.3 feet (approximately 1.3 metres) – ideal for observing butterflies or other details at close range. The ergonomic aluminium housing with armour coating sits comfortably in the hand, even during extended use. Leupold's Advanced Optical System ensures clear vision without annoying reflections.

Technology and optical performance

With a field of view of 341 feet at 1000 yards (approximately 114 metres at 1000 metres), you have a wide overview without having to constantly readjust. The 4mm exit pupil ensures a bright image, even in dim conditions. The eye relief of 16.3mm makes these binoculars comfortable for spectacle wearers, especially in combination with the adjustable eyecups.

The weight of 26.4 oz (approximately 750 grams) and the length of 5.9 inches (15 cm) make this a portable optic that doesn't become too heavy during a day outdoors. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 58mm and 73mm, making the binoculars suitable for different face widths.

Durability and ease of use

This Marksman is fully waterproof and fog-proof thanks to the nitrogen filling. The precision focus wheel works smoothly, even with gloves on – handy during cold mornings. The high-impact aluminium housing with rubber armour coating protects against impacts and provides extra grip in damp conditions.

Who are these binoculars intended for?

Whether you're spotting birds, observing wildlife or simply enjoying landscapes – the Marksman 10x42 delivers sharp images with natural colours.
