During our test, the light weight (154 grams) was particularly noticeable in a positive way. The knife felt surprisingly sturdy despite its elegant appearance. The gold blade finish does scratch faster than expected with intensive use.

The blade is made of 3Cr13 steel, a basic stainless steel that is easy to maintain. The combo-edge design (partially serrated) cuts smoothly through rope and cardboard. It is less suitable for working with wood due to the relatively soft steel type. The grind does make it easy to resharpen.

The black steel handle offers a solid ergonomic grip despite the smooth surface. The linerlock locking system operates smoothly and keeps the blade securely in place. The opening mechanism works well, although the knife cannot be opened one-handed.
