Böker Plus Pocket Rocket – Compact fixed blade knife with serious power

The Böker Plus Pocket Rocket is designed by Michael Jarvis and brings his distinctive style from Reno, Nevada, to the tactical-EDC universe. This small but powerful knife is a fully-fledged fixed blade model with a total length of 12.5 cm, of which 7 cm is taken up by a symmetrical dagger-shaped blade made from D2 steel. Thanks to the black-stonewash-finished blade and compact format, the Pocket Rocket lives up to its name – small in stature, but built for performance.

Experience from the Shogun team

During our test, the Pocket Rocket immediately felt surprisingly solid. Despite its small size, the G10 handle offers excellent grip, even with wet hands. The knife sits firmly in the hand and the full tang construction provides a strong, reliable foundation. The brass rivets add a nice contrast to the dark design, with the rear one also serving as a lanyard hole. The included Kydex sheath with chain makes carrying it as a neck knife comfortable and quickly accessible — ideal for those who want a backup knife within easy reach.

Performance and sharpness of this knife

The Pocket Rocket is made from D2 tool steel, which is known for its toughness, excellent edge retention and resistance to wear. The dagger-shaped, double-edged blade offers both control and power, making it suitable for precise cutting tasks or light cutting work during outdoor or work use. The dark black-stonewash coating protects against corrosion and camouflages signs of use, whilst the compact format of just 67 grams makes the knife a discreet but powerful companion.
