Our view on this rifle scope

What immediately stood out when we unboxed this rifle scope is the solid, reassuring build quality. The aluminium housing feels robust without being unnecessarily heavy, and at 0.4800 kilograms it remains comfortable to handle. The fast-focus eyepiece is a welcome feature: the reticle can be brought into sharp focus within seconds. And that illuminated centre dot? It genuinely makes a difference once dusk sets in.

Technical and optical performance

The optic features a 3-9x40 magnification and a lens diameter of 40 mm, offering a good balance between light transmission and field of view. The HD glass with fully multi-coated lenses delivers sharp detail from edge to edge and excellent light transmission. The reticle is an Illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC (MOA), positioned in the Second Focal Plane (SFP), with a fixed parallax at 100 yards. The eye relief of 3.8" provides ample room, and the field of view ranges from 37.2' to 12.4' @ 100 yds. Adjustments are made in increments of 1/4 MOA, with a maximum travel of 72 MOA in both elevation and windage.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope has a tube diameter of 1 inch / 25.4 mm, meaning it can be mounted using standard 1-inch rings on virtually any common rail system. No mount is included — this is the optic only, allowing you to choose the rings or mount that best suits your setup.

The box does include a number of useful accessories: a Neoprene Cover, a 3" sunshade, a Turret Tool, a lens cloth, and the CR2032 battery.
