RAM Tactical Osprey 4-12x40 Rifle Scope

If you're looking for a versatile rifle scope that won't let you down from the shooting range to the field, then this rifle scope is an excellent choice. With a variable magnification of 4 to 12x and an adjustable objective for parallax correction, this optic offers the flexibility you need for both air rifle and airsoft applications.

What we think of this rifle scope

The Shogun team is impressed with the clarity of the glass and the practical adjustment options. Especially the adjustable parallax from short distances makes this rifle scope ideal for air rifle shooters who want to shoot at various distances. The illuminated reticle with 5-level red/green illumination ensures you can aim accurately in any lighting situation.

Technical and optical performance

With a magnification of 4-12x40 you have enough range for both quick target acquisition at 4x and precision work at 12x. The 30 mm tube diameter ensures a robust construction and provides room for sufficient light transmission. The Second Focal Plane (SFP) parallax keeps your reticle consistent in size, which simplifies working with holdovers.

This rifle scope is built to withstand impact: 750G shockproof certified and IPX4 splash-proof. The fully multi-coated lenses provide a clear and high-contrast image, whilst the 100 mm eye relief allows comfortable shooting, even with safety glasses on.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope is supplied with Picatinny mounting rings, commonly used with air rifles with a 22mm rail – ideal for precision optics. The aluminium construction with capped turrets means that your once-set zero won't accidentally shift during transport or use.

In the box you'll find everything you need to get started straight away: flip-up lens caps, a sunshade against annoying reflections, a power throw lever for faster zooming, mounting rings, a cleaning cloth and of course a manual.

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

This versatile optic is perfect for the air rifle shooter who wants to perform both on the 25-metre range and in the field. Airsoft players with a DMR or sniper replica will also appreciate the flexible magnification and illuminated reticle. The rifle scope is suitable for air rifle and suitable for airsoft, allowing you to serve multiple hobbies with one investment. Whether you prefer static shooting setups or tactical simulations, this rifle scope grows with you.
