ARG Slugs 6.35mm 46.3 grain – heavy slugs for PCP air rifles

These ARG slugs in 6.35mm with a weight of 46.3 grain are designed for powerful PCP systems from 50 joules upwards. The hollow point design ensures excellent energy transfer, making these slugs particularly suitable for precision shooting at medium to long ranges up to 75 metres. Thanks to their high weight and aerodynamic shape, these projectiles maintain their stability and energy over greater distances.

Our experience from the Shogun team

In practice, these ARG slugs demonstrate consistent flight behaviour with minimal deviation due to wind. The hollow point with a lead bulge in the centre provides a perfect balance between mass and aerodynamics. In PCP air rifles with sufficient power, these slugs perform excellently at distances from 50 to 75 metres, retaining both their energy and precision. The soft lead and cold-pressed production ensure uniform projectiles that deliver the same results time after time.

Technical features in practice

With a calibre of 6.35mm and a weight of 46.3 grain, these slugs belong to the heavier category for this calibre. The hollow point pellet shape is specially designed for maximum energy transfer on impact. The soft lead from which they are made ensures a good seal in the barrel, resulting in optimal air pressure and consistent velocities. Each pack contains 100 pieces, enough to thoroughly test which velocity works best with your air rifle. A chronograph is useful to determine the optimal energy output for your setup.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?

These slugs are ideal for experienced shooters with a powerful PCP system who are seeking precision at medium to long ranges. They are perfect for benchrest shooting or Field Target competitions where accuracy is crucial. Thanks to the hollow point design, they are also suitable for pest control, but please note that the use of an air rifle for this purpose is legally regulated. In many cases, an exemption or hunting licence is required, and this is only permitted for recognised pest controllers or certified users.
