This AEG spring from ASG determines the force with which your piston shoots forward and thus the velocity of your BBs. The spring compresses with each cycle of your gearbox and releases again to push the piston forward. You replace an airsoft AEG spring when you want to adjust the FPS for different field limits, or when your current spring becomes fatigued after prolonged use. Technical characteristics

The Ultimate Mil-Spec Spring is made from SiCr steel with military specifications. The material has a black zinc coating that prevents corrosion. The spring has ground and flattened ends for stable placement in your gearbox. Due to the progressive winding, the resistance builds up gradually during compression. Each spring is pre-compressed and features colour coding on the ends: blue (M95), green (M105), yellow (M115), orange (M125) or red (M135).

Compatibility and application

This spring fits in standard AEG gearboxes of V2, V3 and similar types. The different M-values give you options for different FPS levels, depending on your setup. Installation requires you to open your gearbox, so some technical experience is advisable. The progressive winding reduces the load on your gears and motor during the first phase of compression.
