Our experience with the Hatsan Velox
At Shogun, we were immediately impressed by this air pistol. The polymer-metal frame feels solid without becoming heavy – at 1.25 kg it sits comfortably in the hand. The single action trigger system pleasantly surprised us: the trigger breaks cleanly without noticeable resistance, which benefits your precision. The external pressure gauge is a useful addition that gives you immediate insight into the remaining pressure.
Technology, performance and variants
The Velox operates on the PCP principle with a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar. This model has a barrel length of 140mm with ½ UNF thread for mounting a moderator. The total length is 29 cm with a weight of 1.25 kg. This powerful air rifle delivers 17 joules in 5.5mm caliber with 12 shots per fill – perfect for a shooting session without constant refilling. Use and operation
