VictOptics T5 1x22 Red Dot Sight

The VictOptics T5 is a compact red dot sight with 1x magnification and a bright red/green reticle. Ideal for quick aiming at short to medium distances, whether you want to equip an airsoft replica or an air rifle with a reliable sight.

Our thoughts on this red dot sight

We have had this red dot sight in our hands ourselves and what immediately stands out is how light and compact it feels. Weighing just 163 grams and measuring 63 mm in length, it adds virtually no bulk to your setup. The high mount base with a centre height of 50 mm works well with mask or helmet combinations during wargames – you don't need to tilt your head unnaturally to look through the optic.

Technology and optical performance of this red dot sight

The T5 operates with 1x magnification and an objective diameter of 22 mm, providing a natural image with both eyes open. The reticle is a bright 3 MOA red dot that can be set in both red and green, each with 5 brightness levels. This makes it usable in bright sunlight as well as in dimly lit indoor spaces. Parallax is practically free (≤4 MOA) and eye relief is unlimited, giving you flexibility in your shooting position.

The housing is made of 6063-T6 aluminium with a matte black finish. The optic is shock-resistant up to 750G and carries an IPX4 water resistance rating, so it can handle a rain shower or firm handling without issue. Power comes from a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which is inserted from the side for a clean profile. More specifications can be found under the 'More Information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

This red dot sight is supplied with a Weaver mounting base and therefore fits perfectly on Picatinny rails as well, making it immediately suitable for most airsoft replicas and PCP air rifles with this rail standard. The footprint is of the RUM type (compatible with T-1/T-2), so it can also be mounted on alternative mounts if desired. With 120 MOA of both elevation and windage adjustment and clicks of 1 MOA, you have ample room to zero it in precisely.

Who is this red dot sight intended for?

The VictOptics T5 is an excellent choice for airsoft players looking for an affordable yet solid optic for airsoft, as well as for air rifle users who want to aim quickly and intuitively at short distances. Due to the high centre height, it is particularly practical during tactical simulations where you are wearing a mask or glasses. Beginners will appreciate the straightforward operation, while more experienced users will value the sturdy construction and crisp image during dynamic scenarios.
