Our experience from the Shogun team

In practice, these AEA pellets stand out for their predictable flight behaviour. The domed head minimises air resistance and keeps the pellet stable, even in light crosswinds. At distances up to approximately 75-100 metres, they perform excellently in PCP air rifles from 40 joules, with consistent grouping being a notable feature. The weight of 15.9 grains provides a good balance between speed and energy transfer, resulting in a flat trajectory that simplifies aiming.

Technical features in practice

With a caliber of 5.5mm and 15.9 grains weight, these pellets are in the heavier segment for this caliber. The domed pellet shape offers optimal stability for longer distances, while the aerodynamic design limits wind sensitivity. The packaging contains 500 pieces, which is more than sufficient for multiple shooting sessions. Testing different grains in your air rifle is always worthwhile – every combination of air rifle and projectile is unique. A chronograph gives you immediate insight into the energy output and helps you find the ideal match between your air rifle and these precision pellets.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?
