BinTac T338
The BinTac T338 is an impressive PCP air rifle in the heavy 8.6mm (.338) calibre. This powerful air-powered model is designed for shooters seeking maximum impact and precision when shooting recreationally at long distances. With its robust construction and imposing calibre, this air rifle immediately distinguishes itself from standard models.
Our experience with BinTac T338
The Shogun team was impressed by this air rifle. The solid build quality exudes professionalism, whilst the balance is surprisingly good for such a heavy calibre. The shooting behaviour is powerful yet controllable, which makes this T338 a special experience on the shooting range.
Technology, performance and variants
The T338 operates on PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) technology, whereby pre-compressed air provides the propulsion. This model is exclusively available in 8.6mm/.338 calibre, an exceptionally heavy calibre for an air rifle that translates into maximum energy transfer. The exact joule rating and velocity (FPS and MPS) depend on the projectiles used and air pressure, but this calibre is known for its superior power compared to standard 4.5mm or 5.5mm variants. Curious about all the technical details? You'll find them under the 'More information' heading on this page.
Use and operation
This PCP air rifle feels solid and reliable during use. The safety catch is intuitively positioned and operates smoothly. The loading mechanism accommodates the large .338 projectiles without problems, whilst the grip provides sufficient hold for the recoil that comes with this calibre.
Who is this air-powered model intended for?
The BinTac T338 is primarily intended for advanced shooters who have experience with powerful air rifles. The heavy calibre makes this model perfect for precision shooting where maximum impact is desired. Beginners would be better served starting with a lighter calibre before taking the step up to this powerhouse.
