Langley Sniper | Break Barrel Pistol | BO

Langley Sniper | Break Barrel Pistol | BO

The Black Ops Langley Sniper is a versatile air rifle in pistol form that is perfect for recreational shooting at short distances. With the possibility to convert it into a short rifle, you essentially get two air-powered guns in one. This makes it ideal for plinking at 10 to 15 metres – precisely where this type of air pistol excels.

Our experience with the Langley Sniper

At Shogun we are impressed by the well-thought-out construction of this air pistol. The polymer/metal frame feels solid without becoming too heavy, and at 1.5 kg it sits comfortably in the hand. The ergonomic pistol grip ensures a natural hold, which is particularly pleasant during longer shooting sessions. The design reminds us of the reliable Gamo P-900 series – and that is absolutely a compliment.

Technology, performance and variants

This break barrel system works simply but effectively: you fold the barrel downwards, place a pellet, and you are ready to shoot. The total length of 443mm provides a good balance between manoeuvrability and stability. This model is available in 4.5mm and 5.5mm, both with a power output of 7.5 joules. The suppressed design keeps the noise level pleasantly low – your neighbours will appreciate it. Curious about all the technical details? You will find them under the heading 'More information' on this page.

Use and operation

The operation is refreshingly simple: the single action trigger system ensures a consistent trigger pull with every shot. The integrated rear sight and front sight work perfectly for standard use, but the 22mm/Weaver rail offers you the option to mount a red dot sight or rifle scope for even better precision. The safety catch is positioned in a logical place and is easy to operate – even with gloves on.

Who is this air-powered pistol intended for?

This is an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced shooters looking for a reliable air pistol for recreational use. The included stock makes it extra interesting for people who like to vary their shooting style. Perfect for plinking in the garden or at the shooting range.
