Transparent Scope Flip-Cap | 36mm | Vector Optics

Transparent Scope Flip-Cap | 36mm | Vector Optics

This flip-cap for your red dot sight is a handy protective cover that shields the lens surface of your optic from dust, dirt, and scratches. The great thing is: thanks to the transparent window, you don't even need to flip it open to maintain your sight picture – so you're always ready to aim quickly.

What we think of this flip-cap

We mounted this flip-cap on the SCRD-46 Scrapper 1x25 and what immediately stood out is how smoothly it opens and closes. No fussing about – just a light tap and it's open. The fit is precise, keeping the cap firmly in place without any wobble. For such a small accessory, the finish is surprisingly solid.

Technology and optical performance

The housing is made of plastic, which keeps the flip-cap extremely light – it weighs just 7 grams. You'll literally not notice it on your setup. The transparent window lets light through so your sight picture is maintained, while the lens beneath stays protected from everyday use. Ideal if you're regularly outdoors and don't want to clean your lens all the time.

The colour is transparent at the front with a plastic frame. Want to know more about the exact dimensions or material details? Take a look at the 'More information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

With a diameter of 36mm, this flip-cap is specifically designed to fit the SCRD-46 Scrapper 1x25 Red Dot Sight by Vector Optics perfectly. It simply clips over the objective side of your optic and sits firmly in place without any tools.

Please note: this is a standalone protective accessory for the objective lens. It is not a complete mount or red dot sight, but a supplement to protect your existing optic. Always check that the size and model are compatible with your sight before ordering.
