What immediately stood out when we took this red dot sight out of the box is how light it feels: just 190 grams including the mount. You notice it straight away on your setup — no imbalance, no unnecessary top weight. The motion sensor is also an excellent feature: it switches itself off after 2 minutes of inactivity and powers back on at the first movement. A small detail that makes a big difference.

Technical and optical performance of this red dot sight

Optically, it is well put together. The Scrapper GenII offers 1x magnification with a 25 mm reflector lens, allowing you to aim with both eyes open and acquire your target quickly. The reticle is a classic Red Dot of 2 MOA — fine enough for precision, large enough to find quickly. Parallax is specified at <1 MOA @ 100 yards and the eye relief is unlimited, making mounting considerably more comfortable.

Brightness is adjustable across 10 settings: 8 for daylight use and 2 compatible with night vision equipment. The lenses are multi-coated, keeping reflections to a minimum and maintaining a clear image. The housing is made of aluminium, and the battery type is a standard CR2032 with a rated lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. Want to review all the specifications? Mounting and compatibility

This red dot sight is supplied with a Picatinny/Weaver mounting rail — the standard found on virtually all airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles. This ensures broad compatibility and a secure fit without needing to source additional adapters. The mount is included in the box as standard, along with a cleaning cloth and battery, so you can get started straight after unboxing.
