Vector Optics Maverick Mini Red Dot Sight with 3x Magnifier Kit

This Vector Optics Maverick kit combines a compact red dot sight with a convenient flip-to-side 3x magnifier. The system gives you the flexibility to switch rapidly between open sight for close range and magnification for distant targets – ideal for dynamic airsoft scenarios or precision air rifle shooting.

What we think of this red dot sight

The Shogun team is impressed by the thoughtful integration: the co-axial alignment ensures a clear image without annoying shifts. The compact dimensions (14.7 cm total length) make this sight perfect for replicas where space and weight matter. The quick flip mechanism in particular works smoothly and intuitively.

Technology and optical performance

The Maverick red dot sight features a bright 3 MOA red dot with 10 brightness levels – subtle enough for twilight, yet bright enough in daylight. The magnifier offers an effective 3x magnification with an eye relief of 70 mm, allowing comfortable aiming without having to place your head too close to the optic. The multi-coated lenses provide good light transmission and contrast.

The entire unit is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminium with a matte black finish. With an IP66 rating for the red dot sight and IP56 for the magnifier, this sight can take a beating and continues to function in the rain. The CR2032 battery can be replaced from the side without disassembly.

Mounting and compatibility

This kit is supplied with a one-piece Picatinny mount that keeps everything neatly aligned. This is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles – offering solid attachment and wide compatibility. The included mount has a centre height of 57.4 mm for a comfortable 1/3 co-witness with iron sights. Additional mounting options such as a low Weaver mount and 3mm riser are included for maximum flexibility.

Who is this red dot sight intended for?

Perfect for the airsoft player who handles both CQB and mid-range engagement, or the air rifle shooter who wants to bridge variable distances. The quick flip mechanism makes this sight ideal for those who need to switch rapidly between different situations during play or shooting. The intuitive operation and complete kit also make it suitable for beginners who want a versatile setup straight away.
