TinderSticks are parts of pine trees from the Highlands of Mexico. Because it contains a high content (80%) of resin, it is highly flammable. By running a scraper or knife along the sticks, you get beautiful curls. These curls quickly absorb the sparks from the firesteels, creating a fire. Combined with the Light My Fire Firesteels, it has become an indispensable attribute among outdoor enthusiasts.
